squadra is an collaborative practice in the field of architecture engaged in a constant sharing of knowledge, facilities and experiences.

squadra questions the separation between the design and the construction work driven by the increasing specialisation of both areas. Instead of separating them, we embrace their continuity and interdependency.

squadra addresses environmental and social issues within the city and broader landscapes by bridging the small scale of architectural production and its impact on the territory.

squadra believes in the power of self-initiative.

Luca Bazelli (*1992) studied architecture at ETH Zürich, EPF Lausanne and NU Singapore. His thesis, nominated for the THEO Award in 2018, investigates and questions the relationship of tenants to their living spaces, testing alternative, ownership-questioning models of space appropriation. While working in various offices and independently on his own projects, he deepens his interest in the diversity of housing concepts and likes to fall in love with details of little spectacularity.
